The HVIL High-Voltage Interlock Connector is a specialized high-voltage component designed for new energy electrical systems. It integrates dual functions: high-current power transmission and the High-Voltage Interlock (HVIL) safety circuit. Widely used in passenger and commercial electric vehicles, energy storage systems, construction machinery battery packs, motor controllers, PDUs, and charging stations.
Constructed from high-temperature, flame-retardant engineering plastic, the housing offers excellent insulation, thermal stability, and vibration resistance. An independent low-voltage interlock signal loop ensures that the high-voltage power circuit is cut off before the connector is fully locked, preventing arcing during live mating/demating to protect both equipment and personnel. The mating assembly achieves an IP67 protection rating. Available in straight or angled cable exit configurations, it supports mainstream current ratings from 50A to 350A and accommodates various high-voltage cable cross-sections.
Offered in 2, 3, and 4-pin configurations, these connectors comply with major domestic and international automotive standards. They support custom flange mounting structures and secondary locking latches to withstand harsh vehicle operating conditions, including severe vibration, temperature fluctuations, and humidity.
